Play Gold Streak

OVERVIEW

In Gold Streak, your objective is to correctly guess the most and least popular answers to survey questions.  Build the longest streaks of correctly-answered questions to earn cool badges, bragging rights, and compete for the top spots on the Gold Streak leaderboards.
Play free twice daily, and more games for as little as one TCredit. No purchase necessary to win.
Enter to play Gold Streak at: http://bit.ly/2jofjjM
You can also play Gold Streak in conjunction with our broader “Streakasphere” contest where you can compete for the longest day-to-day streak.  Details on Streakasphere below.

ENTRY COST AND PLAY LIMITS

Each day you may play two games free, plus up to 13 additional games for TCredits or EZ Express tokens, as follows:
  • Game 1 = free
  • Game 2 = free
  • Game 3 = 1 TCredit
  • Game 4 = 1 TCredit
  • Etc.

PLAY/WIN LIMIT

You may play a maximum of 15 times each day. Players are also limited to a maximum of 5 wins per day (a win is defined as achieving the longest streak of the day).

ROUNDS

There are three rounds of questions. Each time you guess the correct answer, your streak will advance by one and your stack of “gold coins” on the right will get grow taller.
In the first (“bronze”) round, you will be presented with five randomly-chosen survey questions.  For each question, your objective is to guess which of two answers was the most popular.
In the second (“silver”) round, you will be presented with another five randomly-chosen survey questions.  In this round, for each question, your objective is to guess which of three answers was the least popular.
In the third and final “gold” round, the number of questions you can answer is infinite.  That is, the system will keep feeding you new questions and your streak will keep growing as long as you keep guessing the correct answer.  In this round, for each question, your objective is to guess which of four answers was EITHER the most or least popular (as specified for each question).
Remember, as this is VERY important…you will choose the most popular answers in the first round and the least popular answers in the second round.  And in the third round, you will get a mix of questions–some requiring that you choose the most popular answer…and some requiring the least popular answer, so be sure to keep your focus!

DEADLINES

  • For questions in the first (bronze) round, you have 5 minutes to answer
  • For questions in the second (silver) round, you have 4 minutes to answer
  • For questions in the third (gold) round, you have 3 minutes to answer
When the clock is down to 30 seconds, a chime will sound–provided you have sound enabled–to let you know you need to answer soon.
Note: Since the timer on your computer may be off slightly from our official timer due to latency, always try to answer with at least 10 seconds remaining on the clock.

PASS!

At any time during the game, if you don’t think you know the answer, you can pass on a question.  You can pass up to three times total each game.  All passes add to your streak (and also earn you MRP and Poll Points).  The cost to use your first pass is 1 TCredit.  The cost to use your second pass is 3 TCredits.  The cost to use your third and final pass is 5 TCredits.

GRAB SOME HELP

If you need help with an answer, open a second window in your browser and use a search engine like Google or Yahoo.  By searching on one or more of the keywords in the question and/or answers, you may be able to find information that will help you choose the correct answer.

BRAIN TIP

When you encounter the questions that ask you to pick the LEAST popular answer, it can really mess with your head!  But here’s an easy way to deal with it:  Just modify the question in your mind to make it read the opposite way.  For example, if the question is, “What’s the ugliest animal?”…change it in your mind to “What’s the cutest animal?”  Reading it this way out loud will also help.  Using these tricks, it’s MUCH easier to choose the correct answer.

REACH THE STREAKASPHERE!

Achieving the longest streaks each day is fun and challenging, but that’s just the beginning of Eager Zebra “streak fun”  Each day, if you “reach the Streakasphere” in Gold Streak, you’ll extend your broader, day-to-day streak.  That is, you can build a 10-day streak, a 30-day streak, a 90-day streak, or even longer!
So what exactly does it take to “reach the Streakasphere?”  The Streakasphere is defined as the average Gold Streak streak for the last ten days (rounded down to the closest whole number).  So if for the last ten days the average streak achieved in Gold Streak for EVERY player, for every game, was 7.4, then to get credited with reaching the Streakasphere today, you’ll need to achieve a streak of at least SEVEN.
To trumpet your streak prowess, there are several Streakasphere Streak badges (see BADGES section below for more information).
Note: There is a maximum of 12 plays of Gold Streak per day, so if your objective is to extend your Streakasphere streak, make sure you reach the Streakasphere within 12 plays!

POLL POINTS

Just as Trivia Points are awarded for correctly answering Knockout Trivia questions, in Gold Streak you’ll earn Poll Points for each correctly answered survey (poll) question.
  • Earn 5 points for each question answered correctly in the first (bronze) round
  • Earn 8 points for each question answered correctly in the second (silver) round
  • Earn 12 points for each question answered correctly in the third (gold) round
Your total cumulative number of Poll Points you’ve earned are recorded on the Poll Points Leaderboard…and badges, based on your Leaderboard rank, can be attained (see BADGES section below for more information).
Note: So that everyone can compete equally, Poll Points you’ve earned are halved every 30 days.

MRP and VP

Each TCredit spent playing Gold Streak earns you 5 MRP (Member Rewards Points)–which can be redeemed on over 90,000 TripleClicks products.  If you are also an SFI Affiliate, you’ll also earn one VersaPoint for each play of Gold Streak (max. 200/month).

STATUS FEEDBACK

In the sidebar on the left side, starting with your second question, you will see, “XX players today have equalled or exceeded your current streak.”  This little bit of information is valuable because it helps you gauge how close you are to posting a top streak for the day.  A very large number probably means you’re not going to qualify (i.e. there are MANY who have achieved a longer streak than you today).  Conversely, a small number may indicate your streak will qualify as one of the longest of the day.  That said, keep in mind that it’s relative because it can only provide you with feedback for games that have been completed so far today; it cannot be definitive until the last game has been played for the day.

LEADERBOARDS

The Streaks Leaderboard provides rankings for:
  • Longest single-game Gold Streak streak (all-time, today, last 30/60/90 days)
  • Longest Streakasphere streak (current and all-time)
The Poll Points Leaderboard provides rankings for:
  • Most Poll Points
Note: So that all players have the opportunity to reach the top of the leaderboard, Poll Points won are halved every 30 days.
Being amongst the top spots on the Streaks Leaderboard and Poll Points Leaderboard also earns you badges (see following BADGES section for more information).

How To Win Card King

OVERVIEW

The objective of Card King is to tally the highest score possible.  When you start a new game, you’ll be dealt five cards, at random, from a standard 52-card deck.  Your first task is to select one of these five cards (choosing the highest or lowest card will make for an easier start).  Once you’ve made your choice, the game is off and running.
You’ll score your first points by correctly guessing whether the next card dealt is higher or lower than the card you started with.  If you guess correctly, you’ll be dealt another card and you’ll then guess whether the next card is higher or lower than that card.  Repeat until your straight of cards is “busted” by a wrong guess.  On the way, there are a variety of hints, Sidekicks, and “lifelines” you can employ to extend your straight and maximize your score.

 ENTRY COST AND PLAY LIMITS

Each day you may play two games free, plus up to 13 additional games for TCredits or EZ Express tokens

PLAY/WIN LIMIT

Play at http://bit.ly/2jfexKz

You may play a maximum of 15 times each day.

WINNING THE ZACKPOT

To win one on more shares of the daily Card King Zackpot, you must post one of the 100 highest scores of the day.  Those posting a top 10 score will receive 5 shares each of the Zackpot.  All others will receive 1 share of the Zackpot.  Note:  In the case of a tie, the least time between the start and finish of the game will be the tiebreaker.

TIME LIMIT

For each Feature Card you are dealt, you have a maximum of two minutes to decide whether to guess higher, lower, or pass.  When there are 20 seconds left, your remaining time will be displayed immediately above the Feature Card.  Have sound set to on to also receive a audio cue when you’re down to the final 20 seconds.

HINT CARDS

When the game starts, you’re dealt five cards at random (nearly 10% of the 52 cards).  These cards are valuable because they let you know which cards are already out and can help you make smart choices when deciding to guess higher, lower, or to pass.

PEEKS

Three free Peeks are provided each game (see Peek button on right side of Feature Card).  Peeks will literally count the cards for you and let you know how many cards are left in the deck that are higher and lower than the Feature Card.  This is valuable information that can help you navigate some of the tougher choices, so use your Peeks wisely.

PASSES

You are allowed to pass on up to three cards per game (see Pass button on right side of Feature Card).  You can pass on any card, but you’re best served to use them when the odds of successfully choosing the next card correctly are low.  Note that no points are scored when passing.  The first and second pass costs 1 TCredit each.  The third and final pass costs 2 TCredits.

DUPLICATE CARD BONUS

The Duplicate Card Bonus is for players who have used at least one TCredit in a game.  Here’s how it works: If you guess higher or lower but instead are dealt the same card as the Feature Card, not only do you earn the points of your guess, but you get to spin for a bonus prize!  Prizes include MRP (Member Rewards Points), TCredits, EZ Express tokens, and Card King Bonus Points (which are added to your current game’s score).  Additional prizes are available for SFI affiliates.
The spin wheel will automatically appear when you are dealt a duplicate card.  If you win a prize with your spin, it will immediately be added to your account.  Note: If you are dealt the King four times in a row, you will win the King’s Ransom (see below) instead of a Bonus Prize Spin.

KING’S RANSOM

The King’s Ransom represents a a special secondary Zackpot (though it has the potential to get large).  It starts at 100 TCredits, but grows until someone wins it. You’ll win the King’s Ransom automatically any time you are dealt all four Kings in a row, in any game where a TCredit has been spent.  The TCredits prize will immediately be added to your account, it is then reset to 100 TCredits and starts growing again until the next person is dealt four Kings in a row.

INTERMISSION SCREEN

On the screen that is displayed between cards being dealt, there are two important pieces of information provided.  First, it tells you how much farther you need to extend your straight in order to earn valuable Bonus Points.  Secondly, it tells you how many other Card King scores today your current score has topped and the rank of your current score.  Remember, to earn one or more shares of the daily Card King Zackpot, you need to finish with one of the 100 highest scores of the day.

CARD VALUES

Which card is considered higher or lower?  Following are the values used for Card King:
  • Ace = 1
  • Two = 2
  • Three = 3
  • Four = 4
  • Five = 5
  • Six = 6
  • Seven = 7
  • Eight = 8
  • Nine = 9
  • Ten = 10
  • Jack = 11
  • Queen 12
  • King = 13

STANDARD SCORING

Each time you successfully guess whether a card is higher or lower, you’ll earn the points as shown on the Higher or Lower buttons, ranging from 40 points to 240 points.  The amount of points reflect the odds based on a full 52-card deck.  Example:  If your Feature Card is a Jack, the odds of being dealt a higher card are much, much lower than being dealt a card lower than the Jack.  The lower the odds of success, the more points you’ll earn…and visa versa.  However,  remember to keep in mind that these point values are based on a FULL deck, so be sure to factor in the cards out of the deck (shown on the black panel) when deciding whether to guess higher or lower.

BONUS SCORING

If you are able to put together a straight of at least 7 cards, you will earn Bonus Points as follows:
  • 7 card straight = 200 Bonus Points
  • 9 card straight = 250 Bonus Points
  • 12 card straight = 325 Bonus Points
  • 15 card straight = 425 Bonus Points
  • 20 card straight = 600 Bonus Points

THE JOKERS

Card King enjoys the presence of a two Jokers.  One is nice…and one is naughty!  The nice joker will pop up from time to time and will help you when you need him most.  The naughty joker, on the other hand, likes to play mean tricks on people, so beware.

MISCELLANEOUS TIPS

1. Be sure to try Card King with the sounds effects ON to really bring the game to life.  You’ll find the on/off button on Card King’s homepage and on the gold sidebar during play.
2. On the screen between cards being dealt, you can press the “Enter” or “Return” key on your computer’s keyboard to proceed (you don’t have to click on the “Deal next card” button if you don’t want to).
3. On the game start screen, we feature the avatars of today’s top players.  But if you haven’t yet created and uploaded your avatar, you won’t get to be featured.
4. Almost every element on the playing board has a tooltip.  Hover your mouse over elements to see the clarifying tooltips info.
5. The tiebreaker if your score is tied with another is the time from when you start the game until your straight is busted.  So while you don’t want to rush your decisions, don’t waste time either.
6. Sidekick #4 is a great way to help post a big, Zackpot-winning score.  You have a 50/50 chance of getting it right, but the real key is to use it when there are big points at stake, so that you may quadruple (4x) those points.
7. Sidekick #1 is free and should always be used on every game.

New Eager Zebra Game- Zackjack

Hello! As you may know, the plan to make online games a big part of TripleClicks, they have a number of fun, new online games in development been release.

Eager Zebra, the games division of e-commerce site, TripleClicks, has just taken the wraps off a fun, new, and FREE game called ZACKJACK.  The developers describe the new game as “Blackjack…with a kick!”

A brand new Eager Zebra game for the new year, roll out.

Play Free. Click here: http://bit.ly/2k9le0Av
The game is called ZACKJACK, as “Blackjack…with a kick!”
The game objective is to put together three hands of cards, each equaling 21 points—whicbh call a “Zackjack.”
Face cards (kings, queens, and jacks) are counted as ten points. Aces are counted as 1 point or 11 points, dependent upon the situation. All other cards are counted as the numeric value shown on the card.
At the start of a game, you will be dealt three random cards from a standard 52-card deck. Each of these three cards will represent the start of three separate hands. You will now begin drawing cards, one at a time, from the deck.

Each time you draw a card, you have the option of placing it on any of your three hands.  Click one of the three “arrow” buttons to choose which hand you want to place your card on (again, with the objective of producing a 21 for each hand).
o

Alternately, you may discard (“burn”) a card drawn, up to five times per game.  Your first two “burns” for each game is free.  You can burn additional cards with TCredits or with “matches” (which may be purchased between games and are less expensive than TCredits).

If on any of your hands you place a card that puts you over 21 for that hand, you “bust” and the game is over.
Special Notes:
  1. Any hand with six cards representing 21 points or less scores a de facto 21, regardless of the cards in that hand.
  2. You can also end a game before busting if you wish to in order to bank all of your points.

PRIZE POINTS

While the primary objective of each game is to score three hands of 21 (a Zackjack), with each card drawn you’re also earning a separate set of “Prize Points”* (points for earning recognition and prizes). Prize Points consist of the values of the cards you draw (e.g. 10 for a face card, or the numeric value shown on the card).

There are also eight ways to earn BONUS Prize Points:
  • For the first 21 scored in a game, you’ll earn 50 bonus Prize Points
  • For the second 21 scored in a game, you’ll earn 100 bonus Prize Points
  • For a Zackjack, you’ll earn 500 bonus Prize Points.
  • For any all-red 21, add an additional 100 bonus Prize Points
  • For any all-black 21, add an additional 100 bonus Prize Points
  • For any 6-card 21, add an additional 250 bonus Prize Points
  • For a 6-card Zackjack, add an additional 500 bonus Prize Points
  • Add a timed bonus of up to 180 bonus Prize Points. You’ll start each game with 180 points, with 3 points deducted for each second of game time. In other words, the faster you play, the more timed bonus Prize Points you’ll get added to your score!  Note: A minimum of one 21 must be scored in the game to earn these Prize Points.
Note: All bonus points combine. Example: Achieving a Zackjack consisting of all-red cards would score you 950 total Prize Points.
